Our Commitment to Africa’s Future

At TUA Events Ltd, we believe our role goes beyond organizing world-class conferences and expos — we have a responsibility to nurture and empower the next generation. As part of our long-term mission, we run free training programs for young Africans, providing them with skills, mentorship, and opportunities that can change their lives and strengthen communities.

What We Do: Free Training for Young Africans

Apart from our various initiatives around Tech Unite Africa, Africa AI Conference, Africa Blockchain & Web3 Summit, and more, we organize no-cost training programs targeted at youth across the continent. These programs include:

  • Technical Workshops — in areas like AI, cybersecurity, blockchain, fintech, and more, aligned with the themes of our flagship events.
  • Bootcamps & Hackathons — hands-on, project-based learning to help participants build real-world solutions.
  • Mentorship & Networking — pairing young talent with industry leaders, guest speakers, and innovators who attend our events.
  • Career Readiness & Soft Skills Training — preparing participants not just technically but professionally, so they can transition to jobs, startups, or further education.

Why It Matters: Benefits & Impact

Investing in youth through free training delivers powerful, long-term outcomes:

  1. Employment Creation
    1. Trained youths gain relevant, marketable tech skills, making them more employable in Africa’s fast-growing digital economy.
    1. Many become entrepreneurs or remote workers, contributing to sustainable economic growth and job creation.
  2. Crime Prevention & Social Stability
    1. By providing productive opportunities, we redirect potential away from negative paths. Youths engaged in meaningful work are less likely to fall into criminal activities.
    1. Empowerment through education builds self-esteem, resilience and positive community engagement.
  3. Innovation & Economic Transformation
    1. Our trainees don’t just fill jobs — they become creators, innovators, and problem-solvers, building products and services that address Africa’s unique challenges.
    1. This fosters a thriving ecosystem of tech-based solutions tailored to African needs, driving long-term sustainable development.
  4. Bridging Gaps & Inclusion
    1. We make sure training is accessible to underrepresented youth, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds, thereby increasing diversity in tech.
    1. By removing financial barriers, we democratize access to knowledge and networks.

Our Achievements
  • Over 10+ years of excellence in event management, delivering platforms like Tech Unite Africa, Africa AI Conference, Blockchain & Web3 Summit, and more.
  • Over 10,000+ total attendees have benefited from our events and by extension, our training initiatives.
  • Partnerships that span the public and private sectors, giving our trainees visibility and access to opportunities.

Adopt a Class: How Donors Can Make a Real Difference

We invite corporate partners, foundations, and philanthropists to participate in our “Adopt-a-Class” initiative — a powerful way to support young Africans directly:

  • What Does It Mean to Adopt-a-Class?
    • A donor sponsors an entire training cohort (class) for a given program cycle (e.g., AI bootcamp, blockchain workshop).
    • This covers costs such as materials, trainers, mentorship, venue (if physical), stipends, or digital infrastructure.
  • Benefits for Donors:
    • Social Impact: Your support directly empowers young Africans, improves employability, and helps build a safer, more prosperous future.
    • Brand Visibility: Recognition on our CSR page, event materials, and in communications to our community.
    • Engagement Opportunities: Donors can engage directly with participants — mentoring, judging hackathons, or speaking at training events.
    • Measurable Outcomes: We’ll provide impact reports showing how many students completed the training, secured jobs or internships, or launched projects.
